Queenstown Surveying subdivision Project
This 70 lot residential subdivision opened up a beautiful plateau area over looking the Frankton Arm of Lake Wakatipu. Challenges included a large earth fill project to enhance an incised stream, including re-aligning the stream bed and creating ponds and landscape features.
This project involved many of the typical land surveying skills, such as:
- Topographical surveys.
- Subdivision layout and civil engineering design.
- Resource consent applications and approvals.
- Contract management and supervision under NZS 3910.
- Construction set out and as-built surveys.
- Land transfer surveys to create the new residential sites.
- Liaison with Council and others to obtain the relevant approvals.
